Although Dr. Jason Fennema was born and raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin,
his connection and love for Chicago
has always been strong. Today, his
professional life is dedicated to the people of Chicago who seek improved health and wellness
through Chiropractic care.
Dr. Fennema spent four years of undergraduate study at the University of Minnesota where he completed a B.A. in
Sociology, with an emphasis on societal health and illness. Upon graduation, Dr. Fennema moved his life
to St. Louis, Missouri, to attend Logan College of
Chiropractic. For the next four years
Dr. Fennema put in over 4,200 hours of classroom and clinical study,
establishing a passion for spinal rehabilitation. To this day receiving his Doctor of
Chiropractic (D.C.) degree remains one of the proudest accomplishments of his
life.
This passion for spinal rehab led Dr. Fennema down one more
very important path. Following
graduation from Logan College, Dr. Fennema
spent the next year attaining a post-doctoral fellowship in the Clinical Biomechanics
of Posture (CBP), the most researched, published, and scientific approach in
Chiropractic today. There are only 15
doctors in the entire state of Illinois
with such a distinction.
When away from his practice, Dr. Fennema loves spending
time with his wife, Erin and their dog, Marley. Once a competitive athlete, Dr. Fennema has relinquished himself to
weekend warrior status. He still loves
to play basketball and golf, wishes he could ski more mountains, and one day
soon will run another marathon!
